Description

TuffBet is a decentralized prediction market platform that makes on-chain betting accessible to everyone. Where existing platforms suffer from complex interfaces and high onboarding friction, TuffBet reduces the entire experience to a single gesture — swipe right to bet YES, swipe left to bet NO on questions about crypto, sports, and current events. The platform supports three authentication modes — Xaman wallet, email signup with an auto-generated wallet, and a no-setup guest mode — so any user can place their first bet in under 10 seconds, regardless of their crypto background. A live leaderboard and badge system add a social and competitive layer that keeps users engaged beyond the first session.

Technical Details

TuffBet is built on React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind CSS, with Framer Motion handling the swipe interaction layer. Authentication and real-time data are managed through Supabase, which also stores user wallets, question pools, and bet history with live sync. XRPL wallet login is implemented via the xumm-oauth2-pkce library using OAuth2 PKCE flow, and on-chain balance verification is performed directly against the public XRPL cluster. Prediction markets are settled through the Axiom Protocol — three Solidity smart contracts deployed on the XRPL EVM Sidechain. AxiomPrime is an ERC-4626 staking vault that gates market creation eligibility. AxiomTheorem is the market factory responsible for deploying individual market instances. AxiomMarket handles pooled bet collection, probability tracking, optimistic outcome resolution with a 6-hour challenge window, and on-chain payout claims.
