Description
EdelLand is a decentralized credit infrastructure built on the XRP Ledger, designed for institutional compliance.
Users verify their identity once through Edel-ID, a Swiss KYC provider, and receive tiered on-chain credentials via XLS-46. These credentials unlock access to unsecured credit lines, a five-step collateralized loan wizard with real-time health monitoring, and a permissioned yield vault earning up to 12% APY.
Merchants can offer Buy-Now-Pay-Later checkout flows backed by automatic three-installment loan origination. OFAC sanctions screening is enforced before any KYC session begins. No funds are ever held by the platform.
Technical Details
EdelLand BSA is built on Next.js 14 with React 18, Tailwind CSS, and xrpl.js 4.6. Wallet connectivity is handled through xrpl-connect, supporting Xaman, Crossmark, and GemWallet.
The lending protocol uses XLS-66 with dual-signature loan origination (borrower and broker). On-chain credentials follow XLS-46, queried via account_objects. Collateralized loans use SignerListSet for platform co-signing and monitor health every 30 seconds against an XLS-40 on-chain price oracle, with liquidation triggered below 112%.
The permissioned vault follows XLS-65. Collateral positions are persisted in file-backed JSON. The platform runs on XRPL AlphaNet by default, with Testnet and Devnet support.
