Description

NuclearEscrow is a decentralized application built on the XRPL blockchain that securely manages funds for the decommissioning of nuclear power plants. It uses smart contracts to automatically release escrowed funds to operating companies when independent radiation sensors verify safe levels, or to penalize them if radiation thresholds are exceeded.

Technical Details

NuclearEscrow is a decentralized platform on XRPL that automates compliance-based escrow for nuclear decommissioning.

Regulators publish templates defining metrics, periods, thresholds, oracle quorum, and fund splits. Companies deposit XRP into period-specific and bonus escrows. Oracles attest to real-world measurements (e.g., radiation levels); if thresholds are met, funds are released automatically.

The frontend is a web portal for regulators and companies, using local seed-based signing. The Node.js backend indexes templates, tracks periods, aggregates oracle attestations, and orchestrates escrow creation.

XRPL escrows provide transparency, low fees, and secure programmable enforcement without custodial risk.
