Permissioned DEX on XRPL enabling regulatory-compliant trading via credential-based access control. Uses XLS-70/80/81 & OpenID4VP for MiCA compliance. Deployed on Devnet.
Description
PermiX solves the real problem blocking institutional DeFi adoption: compliance. Banks and financial institutions can't use permissionless DEXs because they violate regulations like MiCA, AML requirements, and age restrictions. PermiX lets institutions create controlled trading environments where only users with verified credentials can trade, with every verification and transaction recorded on-chain for regulators.
Technical Details
Technically, PermiX is a permissioned DEX built on XRPL using credential-based access control. It leverages the newest XRPL amendments for credentials, permissioned domains, and permissioned DEX functionality, integrated with OpenID4VP for state-issued digital identity verification. Institutions define policies requiring specific credentials (KYC status, age, jurisdiction), users present verifiable credentials, and the system automatically enforces access control on-chain. All credential verifications and trades are permanently recorded on the ledger, creating an immutable audit trail that satisfies regulatory requirements. At the same time users can enjoy zero intermediary and simple UX.
