We’re building a protocol that enables Energy Agents, autonomous AI systems, to discover, negotiate, and pay for energy in real time through XRPL.
Today’s energy networks are fragmented. Prices shift by the minute, settlements take days, and coordination between grids remains manual and inefficient. Our protocol allows intelligent agents to communicate directly, share data, and settle transactions instantly on-chain.
This forms the foundation for a self-managing, intelligent energy network where AI systems, energy producers, and grids coordinate autonomously to make global energy smarter, faster, and more connected.
Technical Details
We’ve built an Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol that enables autonomous AI agents powered by Claude to discover each other, communicate, and execute XRP Ledger transactions through dedicated wallets. Each agent integrates Claude’s reasoning with over 43 blockchain operations via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing autonomous negotiation and settlement in natural language. A custom MCP server bridges Claude to XRPL, exposing wallet functions as AI-native tools so agents can perform complex transactions—escrows, NFT trades, and payment channels—based solely on expressed intent. For example, “Pay 50 XRP when data is delivered” automatically creates and resolves an escrow in under 5 seconds. This architecture demonstrates a production-ready link between large language models and XRPL, enabling secure, low-cost autonomous commerce at machine speed.
